I m restoring the Double cab RHD.
Will fit with drop spindle, 1776 cc motor soon!

This is my next project to restore.


and my daily driver bus.
T3 Diesel 1900 cc with Turbo.


I m so in love with Double cab!

I first met him in province of Thailand.

This is the first picture I taken when I first met him.



Then the ex-owner leaved him in a garage.




Then I brought him to Bangkok.

I striped him bare to metal. Then spreyed to grey.


This useful double cab! I had test lot of spare parts on him.



Such: a drop spindle.

This bus was crashed in the right front.

I used to read "how to flip the bus" somewhere on internet ,but I cant remembered the website. So, I copied those idea and re-make it here.

One of our club members just got a 63 DC.
We will be restoring it , also.
It's good to have a "training manual" right here on vwrides !!

To all involved- this site is one of the friendliest and honest sites I"ve been to. Some of the big sites could take a lesson from the mods and admin. here.

It's not IF but WHEN!!
The guy lives 60 miles (what's that, about 80 klicks ?) away. So , it will be slow going.
I'm getting ready to show "saved-1" in it's first show Very Happy . May 5 , wish me luck!!
